Rebecca Davis, BS, ADN, RN received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Ohio University, then changed career paths and obtained her associate degree in nursing. Her entire nursing career has been based in long-term care. She began as an STNA while in high school and continued through college. She has 25 years of experience in long-term care nursing management, ranging from Skilled Unit Manager and then Director of Nursing to Vice President of Clinical and Quality Assurance, managing 16 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Ohio. Rebecca has practical experience in dementia and behavior units, system management, and survey management. She developed the infection control policies and procedures for her corporation during the COVID pandemic. She also developed educational programs and schedules for the nursing home company to meet all CMS requirements of participation. As a regional nurse, she was assigned to a Special Focus Facility and successfully navigated it off the Special Focus List in 7 months. Rebecca joined Med-Net in 2021 and serves as Director of Education. She participates in and leads numerous workgroups and committees, and is integral in the ongoing development of webinars, MNA programming, and the creation of the MNA learning management system (LMS) platform. She also oversees the development and ongoing updating of the numerous Med-Net policy and procedure manuals for clients.
