Barbara, a highly skilled healthcare professional, has more than 43 years of management and practical experience in psychiatric, geriatric hospital and long-term care as well as nursing education.  She is experienced in resident and family dementia support, including assessment, counseling, education regarding medications and treatment, behavioral management, and development of psychosocial programs, In addition to her work as a Director of Nursing, Barbara brings to Med-Net Concepts, LLC vast experience in healthcare consulting and education.  Her experience in educating long-term care professionals on MDS 3.0, care area assessments, exceptional care planning, falls, dementia, survey preparation, QAPI, and other related topics will immensely benefit our compliance and risk management resources for our continuing curriculum development.
