Pennsylvania state agencies will begin enforcing new staffing requirements at long-term care facilities. The new rules, which took effect July 1, set a minimum number of hours each resident should get in direct care and caps the maximum number of people assigned to each skilled worker at nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
