Executive Director Quality Management

Marianna Kern Grachek has over 30 years of health care leadership experience including serving nationally as President & CEO of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) and as the Executive Director for the Long-Term Care Accreditation Program at the Joint Commission. She has held various administrative, nursing, and academic positions including serving as a nursing home administrator, a director of nursing, an educator in both nursing education and staff development education programs, and gerontological nursing specialty roles. Ms. Grachek has served on several national groups including the Advancing Excellence Board of Directors, the Assisted Living Workgroup (ALW) convened at the request of the US Senate Special Committee on Aging and has served as an AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Senior Examiner.

Currently, Marianna surveys Nursing Care Centers for the Joint Commission and serves as the Executive Director for Quality Management for MedNet, LLC.

Ms. Grachek is a fellow in the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) and holds their Retired Emeritus Certified distinction in nursing home administration (CNHA) and assisted living administration (CALA). She is a fellow in NADONA and has held NADONA certification as a director of nursing. She holds a Robust Process Improvement Yellow Belt from The Joint Commission. Marianna is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Nursing Honor Society, and currently holds the Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP) certification.

Marianna received her diploma in Nursing from St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH, her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Toledo, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a focus in gerontological care at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. She is licensed as a nursing home administrator (NHA), as a Health Services Executive (HSE), and as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
