The Med-Net Academy program titled Understanding and Preventing Ransomware, APTs, and Zero Day Exploit Attacks is recommended by the Med-Net Education Work Group for viewing by all Med-Net employees. This training module describes ransomware, how it operates, explains the consequences of an attack and why Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) are a serious threat, provides case studies, and gives steps to protect our systems and prevent them from becoming infected. The program is 25 minutes in length. At the end of the program, you will be asked to complete a short registration form and take the quiz. Michael Mann will receive notification of completion of each quiz so that we can keep a list of our staff who have viewed the program.
