Pharmacist Pleads Guilty to Federal Charge of Murder for Hire

David Robinson, age 51, of Baltimore, Maryland, pleaded guilty on December 17, 2020, to a federal charge of murder for hire. Robinson, formerly a licensed pharmacist who owned and operated the Frankford Family Pharmacy, pleaded guilty on October 10, 2018, to a federal drug conspiracy involving the distribution of oxycodone and alprazolam outside the scope of professional practice and not for a legitimate medical purpose. Robinson admitted that he ordered a “hit” on the person he believed had cooperated with law enforcement that led to his indictment on those charges.
