The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy (ASTP), has finalized two rules: Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (HTI-2) and Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: Protecting Care Access (HTI-3).
